WOW. What a great week it has been for our campaign and a ALL the wonderful support! We’re now at 45 backers with a total of $3,180 raised towards our goal!!
A HUGE thanks to everyone helping us spread the word and raising awareness. It’s been a one heck of a roller-coaster with many uncertainties running through my mind. The most challenging part is that I’ve devoted these few months into pursuing this project with no income and “clear” idea of the ultimate outcome. But it’s all of YOU who has kept me pushing forward and I thank you for that. I knew from the start that it’s going to be challenging but to have all the support and belief in the cause makes it worthwhile :)
Please continue to help make this a reality by spreading the word! & supporting us at Startsomegood.com.

Thanks for the LOVE!
This video is a small expression of my gratitude for all the support we’ve received thus far. For 2,105$ the least I could do was make a fool of myself, which came quite naturally as you can see :P
By the way this was the idea of my wonderful team mate Joshua Chakkapark, who thought it’d be amusing to watch me perform Numa Numa as he “graciously” records and pokes fun at me. thanks josh!
I can’t express enough how grateful, excited and humbled I am that there is so much kindness that surrounds us.
A few months ago it was just an idea and it still is a very small idea but it’s been so beautiful to see it coming to life and there is no way I could’ve done this alone.
This journey has been full of ups, downs and a lot of uncertainties but regardless of the outcome, it’s been a great experience. For me, the biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is simply to share and if it feels right, believe in yourself! If you have an idea; share it, get others opinions, ask for help, help others, admit when you are wrong or unsure and stay focused.
The most difficult aspect personally, as a social entrepreneur is consistently staying motivated and finding creative ways to convey our vision. As social entrepreneurship is still not widely understood, it’s often difficult for many to grasp the concept so, it is our job to paint the picture. I will admit that this is by far the most daunting task but also the most rewarding with positive feed back ;)
Again, thanks for all the support thus far! As promised, I will strive to share each step of the way so that our supporters can SEE where their efforts are going and how you’ve help us Start Some Good.
because I love hand written letters..
We’re at 14 backers with a total of 800$ towards our goal!! I can hardly believe how much support we’ve been receiving and I am so so thankful -_-
With some funds coming in, we’ve had some promotional material printed and these beautiful cards!! I will be personally writing thank you letters to all of our contributors in addition to sending goodies from Thailand as a part of our rewards (various handicrafts and Thai inspired gifts, based on contribution denominations)
We have 41 days left to reach our goal and appreciate your continued support.
Please help us Start Some Good ;)
After many sleepless nights and a wild roller coaster of emotions; our campaign is finally live at Startsomegood.com!
It’s been less than one day and we’ve received so much support on our Facebook page and many many endearing messages from family, friends & supporters.
Already 5 donations totaling 125$ towards our campaign! Thank you Alex, Jennie, Jessica, Christopher & Meghan for your gracious contribution!!! We are getting cards printed and will start writing away :)
It appears that the concept of crowd funding is still very unclear to many people so, I will try to simplify it. StartSomeGood.com is a crowd funding platform which enables ANYONE from around the world to become social innovators. “By connecting social entrepreneurs with the financial and intellectual capital they need to transform an idea into a reality.”
When I discovered this it was mind blowing to me! I knew that I had to create a project not only to achieve my own aspirations but also to set a small example of how even someone like myself (without sufficient funds), can turn a simple idea into a reality. I have met far too many creative young minds who give up their passions due to lack of funds. I firmly believe that we need to invest and nurture a young generation of do-gooders. What better way than to show our support :)
With that being said, please visit us at Startsomegood.com and show your support! Either by donation or spreading the word. We know that money is hard to come by these days so, we are offering various goodies based on amount of donation. We will be posting photos of the rewards very soon and continue to update about our journey!
There are many other awesome projects on there as well. Check them out, give your support or get inspired!
